Born in the City of Lahore, Pakistan in a family of four siblings, Naqvi was always taught by his parents and grandparents the value of public service and helping others. Naqvi trained as a lawyer and came to London in 2000 to ensure a better future for his three children. He quickly became part of the London community, working odd jobs to put food on the table for his family, and, with the support of government services, worked to return to the law profession in Canada. He joined the Liberal Party in 2001, and has volunteered for candidates at multiple levels of government in the London area.

Naqvi was called to the bar in Ontario in July , 2022, and opened his law firm in London that month, offering service in multiple areas of law.

As the Liberal candidate for London-Fanshawe, Naqvi is committed to working hard to serve this community and bringing a strong voice on affordability, safety, and a durable social safety net to Ottawa. His experiences as a newcomer, a lawyer, and a community advocate have equipped him to get to know this community and understand the issues that matter to you – because they matter to him, too.
